CMAK and the Seoul Regional Public Procurement Service (PPS) held the “CM–Client Partnership Day with the Seoul Regional Public Procurement Service” on October 22 at the PPS Hall in the Annex Building of the Seoul Regional Public Procurement Service.

The event was organized to foster mutual understanding between project owners and construction management (CM) firms and to expand practical cooperation opportunities by connecting the project needs of client organizations with the professional capabilities of CM firms.

Participants included representatives from public- and private-sector client organizations, including the National Assembly Secretariat, the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, the Korea Veterans Health Service, the National Tax Service, Koramco Asset Management, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), as well as CM firms.

In particular, the participation of Koramco Asset Management, which is pursuing data center construction projects, broadened the scope of cooperation to include private-sector construction projects.

The program featured an expert lecture introducing AI-based smart project management strategies, followed by presentations on CM project cases, through which participants shared project management experience and examples of collaboration with client organizations.

Pre-arranged one-on-one meetings were held between client organizations and CM firms to discuss potential future cooperation based on project requirements and professional expertise.

The event provided a practical platform for exchange, enabling client organizations to explore CM services and specialized firms suited to the specific characteristics of their projects, while allowing CM firms to better understand client needs and showcase their professional capabilities.

CMAK will continue to support ongoing communication and cooperation between client organizations and CM firms, contributing to the wider adoption of CM services and the advancement of the construction industry through professional project management expertise.
