Korea-US CM Forum started in October 2010,
with aims to advance CM and to foster co-operation between
Korea and America with aims to find ways to venture into
the construction markets in Korea, Americas, or in other
construction markets around the world.

Following the adoption of MOU on 17 October
2006 between CMAK and CMAA to foster co-operation between
the two associations, CMAK proposed the concept of Korea-US
CM Forum in October 2009.
Consequently, on 30 April 2010 in Seoul at CM Seoul Forum
& Global CM Contest, hosted jointly by CMAK, CMAA,
CMAJ, CIOB and IPMA, a final decision to host Korea-US
CM Forum came into effect.
The first Korea-US Forum took place at the CMAA National
Conference in San Diego, CA in October 2010.
